For a first trip, Seoul + Gyeongju + Busan is the strongest route. Seoul gives you palaces, K-pop, skincare, food and nightlife. Gyeongju adds history and traditional Korea. Busan adds coast, markets and a more relaxed rhythm. Jeju is worth adding if you have 12 to 14 days.
